Fast 16 with Josh Thom
1. What is your role at The Print Room?
16. You’re allowed 3 famous guests at this dinner party who are they and why?
Screenprint assistant and screen hand. Embroidery consultant.
2. Shoot a portrait of yourself
3. Shoot your workspace
4. What are your hobbies?
I’ve tried my hand at most sports. Currently play rugby, gym, surf (poorly) and climb. I need to introduce some flexibility into my life, so yoga will be thrown into the mixer too. I also listen to a lot of music and am partial to eating and drinking.
6. What's your favourite part of the working day?
Smoko. We’re all budding baristas at TPR. Some of us are better than others. I’m definitely better than Jon.

7. What’s your go-to coffee?
I spread myself pretty thin in this regard. My cafe order would range from a flat white, long macchiato or long black to a filter job. All mood dependent. I make a mediocre at best long black at home/work.

8. What's your all-time favourite album?
Pretty difficult to narrow it down to one album. Possibly Madvillain’s Madvillainy. Current albums on heavy repeat are: Slowthai Tyron, Westside Gunn Hitler Wears Hermes: Side B & Vince Staples Vince Staples.
9. Your lifelong dream?
Being multilingual has always been up there. I studied French at Uni for a year, just need to get back on le cheval, so to speak.

10. What are you doing to help the environment?
Not enough. I’m an avid composter and recycler, but definitely room to improve, generally. I’m 95% vegetarian, so that’s something. I’ve just bought a road bike so will bike pumping the calves furiously over summer, reducing those emissions.

14. If the borders were to open tomorrow and you could go to one country where would it be and why?
I’d head to Greenland or the Faroe Islands. They’re places I’ve always wanted to go to. Unreal natural beauty, largely untouched by humes.

MF DOOM (favourite musician), Francis Bacon (favourite artist) & Zoë Kravitz (celebrity crush).
