Relabelling & Finishes.

WHAT IS RELABELLING?

Relabelling is a service we provide to remove the manufacture label from the garment and add either a custom woven label or custom printed neck tag. This is a great way to set your brand apart from others and it leaves you with a fully customised garment.

When adding your own neck tag it is important to keep the washing and care instructions as well as where the garment is made. We take care of the whole process for you, from neck tag removal and then printing the neck tags or manufacturing and sewing in customised woven neck tags.

PRINTED NECK TAGS.

This is when we remove the garment manufacture label and add a custom screen print into the neck in its place. The print includes your brand/logo, the garment size, care/wash instructions and where the garment is made. We can screen print the neck tags in using one colour with a maximum print area of 80mm wide x 100mm high. The minimum order for screen printed neck tags is 50 units, but 300 neck tags (we keep the rest for future orders). If you require more than one colour, we can heat press in a Supacolour neck tags. The maximum size for Supacolour neck tags are 60mm x 60mm and the minimum order is 300 tags across 5 - 6 different sizes. These do not all have to be printed in one run, so if you only do a run of 50, we can use the remainder of the transfers on the next production run.

WOVEN LABELS.

We offer manufacturing and the sewing in of custom woven labels and pips. We have a minimum of 500 labels per design and size and have a lead time of 3 weeks to manufacture and 1 week to sew in the new label. We also have a minimum run size of 50 units for all products that require relabelling.

We can produce woven labels for t-shirts, sweaters, pants, jackets, caps, beanies, and bags. The maximum size is 100mm x 100mm and you can have up to 12 colours. If you are to remove the garment care labels it is important that you either re-sew these back into the garment, either in the neck or inside the side seam, or you can produce your own.

The most common practice is to keep the care instructions and replace the brand label with your own custom woven label. Or we can remove the care label and add it into the side seam and then add your woven label to the neck of the garment.

Woven labels look great on knit beanies, especially if you have lots of fine detail that is too fine for embroidery. Otherwise, embroidered patches that are then sewn onto beanies and caps can look very smart.

FOIL FINISH.

Foil can be used to make parts or the whole of the artwork really pop off the t-shirt. To add foil, we screen print a clear adhesive gel once the rest of the screen colours have been printed. Once cured, we then cut a piece of foil and place it over the entire artwork and heat press. Once heat pressed, we then remove the foil sheet, where the adhesive was printed the foil will remain and the excess foil is removed leaving a crisp foil finish. This works well for large block artwork, but also detailed artwork down to approximately 3mms in thickness.

We offer foil in four different colours; Gold, Silver, Bronze and Rose Gold.
