Case Study: Bernie
The Project:
Bernie Collective is an emerging sustainable fashion brand based in Wanaka. Bernie's mission is to create garments entirely from natural and sustainable fabrics, while also supporting upcoming fashion designers, graphic designers, illustrators, photographers and creatives. They offer a "Loop" service, where you can return old items for repairs or second-hand resale purposes. This keeps the clothing sustainable from creation through to wear, but also out of landfill! Genius!
Bernie Collective wanted to create their Burn-ie Things shop tee to sit alongside their sustainable hats, bags, and shorts.
The Solution:
We screen-printed their design with our eco-friendly water-based inks onto sustainable organic cotton tees. These t shirts are Fair Wear, GOTS, OEKO-TEX 100, and PETA Vegan certified. You can find out more about these certifications on the sustainability page on our website.
Not only are they good for the planet, but the design is super fun too!
We are stoked that Bernie trusted us with creating tees that align with their environmental ethos.
