Case Study: Cancer Society x Dick Frizzell
The Project:
The New Zealand Cancer Society and Dick Frizzell's team approached us to help them create a range of merchandise to fundraise for their annual Daffodil Day Appeal. Frizzell, one of New Zealand's most iconic artists, created this artwork specifically for the Cancer Society in homage to his well known Mickey to Tiki artwork.
The Solution:
Based on the success of previous fundraising campaigns, we suggested offering both Men's and Women's hoodies and t-shirts. Kids t-shirts are also available. We chose to print on the AS Colour Premium Hoodie, AS Colour Staple t-shirt for men & AS Colour Mali t-shirt for women.
We offered the products online on our website for customers to pre-order. Offering this as a pre-order model ensures that we only print the ordered stock and eliminates the chance of any inventory waste. In addition, a portion of each sale is donated to the Cancer Society to assist them in helping the people who need their services.
Once the pre-order period closes, we will print & fulfil all of the orders throughout New Zealand and the world.
In conjunction with this wall prints of the Daffy to Daffy artwork were available exclusively from Fish Mob. Frizzell also donated a signed print on Trademe which at last look was up to $10,000.
