GIVING BACK
At Print Room, we are passionate about facilitating opportunities for charities and causes around the country. We want to give back, which is why we offer these fundraising campaigns where we set up and manage a pre-order online store, then print and distribute the garments.
The campaign receives all of the profit to maximise the fundraising, and customers can feel good about donating to an important cause while receiving a sweet piece of merch. The organisations we have worked with in the past have had huge success and we are proud to have been able to help.
ORGANISATIONS WE HAVE WORKED WITH FOR FUNDRAISING
KIA KAHA CHRISTCHURCH - DICK FRIZZELL
When Ben and the Dick's World team approached us with the idea of printing t-shirts to raise money for the families affected by the Christchurch tragedy, we were more than happy to offer our assistance & expertise.
We printed and fulfilled over 900 t-shirts, hoodies and crew neck sweaters with Dick Frizell's artwork on them. We donated 100% of the profits to the families affected.
KILLING COVID WITH KINDNESS
This project was initiated by Ben Parsons as a fundraiser to support New Zealanders badly affected by Covid19 and brought to you as part of Print Room's 'Keep A Good Thing Going' campaign.
Artwork by Parkby Projects, the creative practice of Stephen Kirkby and Jill Parsons, dedicated to the visual communication of ideas, projects and identities.
THE CURVE CRUSHER - DR ASHLEY BLOOMFIELD MERCH
Local design studio; The Bold teamed up with The Print Room to run one of our first major pre-order stores with 100% of the profits going to Women's Refuge.
Over the course of the Covid19 lockdown this campaign raised over $140,000 for Women's Refuge.
SAVE THE KĀKĀPŌ - DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION
We teamed up with the Department of Conservation's Kākāpō Recovery program to raise funds for all the work they do to keep the critically endangered native Kākāpō alive and breeding.
The artwork was made by Kākāpō ranger Sarah Little, and printed by us using our water-based inks. Over the course of this campaign, over 1000 t shirt were sold and around $25,000 raised.
CANCER SOCIETY X DICK FRIZZELL - DAFFY TO DAFFY
The New Zealand Cancer Society and Dick Frizzell's team approached us to help them create a range of merchandise to fundraise for their annual Daffodil Day Appeal.
Frizzell, one of New Zealand's most iconic artists, created this artwork specifically for the Cancer Society in homage to his well known Mickey to Tiki artwork.
