Cableways Tavern Dunedin | Screen Printed T Shirts

Everyone loves their local tavern, and Cableways Tavern in Kaikorai Valley is one of the best around. Cableways Tavern is one of our first and most loyal Dunedin clients. The team at Cableways Tavern asked The Print Room Dunedin to come up with a cool t-shirt that they could give to customers who devoured their Big Lizzie Snitty (schnitzel). In honour of the much revered Big Lizzie, an entire Tuesday night is dedicated to the consumption of this infamous dish. Believe it or not, the schnitzel you're eating originally came from a cattle beast. We thought it was a great idea to screen print a cattle beast and show the different cuts of meat on the animal onto the AS Colour Paper t shirt. To top off the design, we added a few words that describe the Big Lizzie, in case you weren't already sold! The Print Room created a t shirt that people love to talk about and wear. Murray and his team realised this and successfully created content for their Facebook page featuring photos of the Tavern's patrons throughout the world repping their 'Big Lizzie' t shirt. This screen printed t shirt is a great example of how t shirts can be powerful marketing tool for your brand or business if well-design, as we have written about here.

More infomation about Cableways Tavern:
Cableways Tavern is straight up the hill along Stuart Street from Dunedin's Octagon. The Tavern was established in 1987, near the site of the steam powered wheelhouse that provided power for the cable cars that transported passagers to and from the Roslyn to Kaikorai area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. An original restored Roslyn cable car 'No. 93' has been restored and sits pride of place for patrons to enjoy while have a drink or bite to eat.

Cableways Tavern is well-know for it's friendly English pub style bar that has been kitted out with an impressive array of visual cablecar memorabilia. The Tavern serves great food, drinks in a family friendly themed atmosphere all at an affordable price.

Next time you and the family are looking to go for a night out or to catch up with mates look no further than Cableways Tavern.
